The other boy looked as if he had the beatin' of him, if he had got his tactics right.

I thought they were having a game of musical statues. Imagine paying to watch that, some folk are keen.big mervyn wrote:The other boy looked as if he had the beatin' of him, if he had got his tactics right.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Paying 2 impoverished wee Spides to knock each other's melt in, is just plain wrong. A busted jaw and probable minor brain injuries - great night outand no harm done eh?
I was drawn to the other boy simply because he wasn't covered in bloody ink. Does anything look worse?

You can see why football shirts are banned - you wouldn't want a fight to break out
Heard a few stories before about Jimmy's party exploits.

Just watched the fight. Yer man Quigg looks completely dead between the ears. If he had any brain about him at all he would have won that fight by quite some way.
Mary had a little lamb . . .
Re: FRAMPTON DIGGING MATCH
Whenever he was 6 to 1 down after 7 rounds he had to go for a ko, if he had started boxing at round 3 or 4 he had it won.fuzzylogic wrote:Just watched the fight. Re: FRAMPTON DIGGING MATCH
maybe… but then again Carl may have simply adjusted his plan to account for those tactics. He fought a fight that won him both titles and I won't fault him that. His tactics turned out to be spot on even if it didn't hit the heights of a Dave Boy McAuley fight.
Listened back on a recording of the radio when they cut into the fighters corner during the bell and Quigg was being told to do what he was doing because Carl would go flat footed after 4 rounds… that sounds like they got the tactics wrong. They only changed when they got the word from SKY coverage that their man was so far behind.. anyhow well done the Jackal.
Sounds like they have the same analysis team as Ulster..

Northern Ireland actor James Nesbitt has admitted he had "a little bit too much hospitality" while attending boxer Carl Frampton's world title fight.

Not the sort of admission to be heard on BakeBook too often apparently!Rooster wrote:Northern Ireland actor James Nesbitt has admitted he had "a little bit too much hospitality" while attending boxer Carl Frampton's world title fight.

Tere is a certain Cuban he wants to avoid. May give up WBA belt rather than fight him.
Rigondeaux is a Southpaw with a long reach and undefeated in 16 pro fights. Barry won't let that car crash happen until absolutely unavoidable

We dont need the English to win the European Cup
