Boaty McBoatface would have been an excellent name.

One is not amused.

Nah Hairy, it simply was put forward by some limp-wristed wee cretin, almost certainly prone to excessive self-abuse of the trouser snake, with an online account & some people considered it a merry jape.

I, whilst not averse to a jape myself, regard it as utter fu@kwittery, arsefoonery on a grand scale. One of these pathetic online cults of the pathetic who cluster round some feckwits jovial idea and then make a crusade of it. Democracy my hole, feck all to so with democracy, a misguided attempt by the boffins to seek public assistance, guess that's the last time they make that mistake.

Caveat: it is just conceivable that I am being somewhat po faced, but I very much fu@king doubt it.

So, here's to the Sir Davy Attenborough. >drinks >dance  >dance >drinks >drinks >happyparty >clapping >clapping >clapping >you_rock >you_rock   >elvis >appl >appl :thumright:

Actually Hairy I am pretty certain I have it spot on, including my description of the cretin who put forward Boatym'boatbake.

Anyway, that's on the past, here is a tricky one to be amused by. Disabled sport - no laughing matter, eh? Especially the Invictus Games.

Well I almost lost my left ball again down the side of my enormous leather chair. I watch a race and when I heard the category My arsepiece almost fractured with laughter. It translates to "The race for people with almost absolutely frig all wrong with them". :D

Is Invictus like the Paralympics where people with learning difficulties, like 'arry, can compete? 'Arry's learning difficulties were so severe he had to get somebody else to do his A-levels.

I would say that is close to slanderous Urban Myth closer to the truth would be he was able assisted to achieve the grades necessary in carefully selected subjects.

But is actually significant how well some public schools do in certain specialised subjects where there are few sitting the exam such as ancient Greek or Roman History , Modern Art etc like your average red brick comprehensive is full of children studying Roman History.

.
Getting the Art teacher to do your coursework is taking able assistance a tad far. And didn't he get some Andy McNabb type to do his dissertation at Sandhurst?

Still, at least he isn't a crashing bore like his half-brother.
