See the Connacht thing on RTE?
Good on them for letting the cameras in.
Some footage from the debacle in the Aviva.
I spotted Neill M complaining about the standard of the stout.

I see there’s an Ulster ‘reject’ in the Leinster back row tomorrow.

Boomer would be in mid 20's now.
Re: URC 2022/23 - Other Sides
He’s not a baby Boomer anymore.
Saw him for Terenure last season. Good luck to him.

Could we not have got a match against someone this week?

It will be interesting to see how many fans are at the Chile match. Will the crowd be in four figures?

Bristol Bears are currently second from the bottom in the Gallagher Premiership.
They beat South Africa A 26-18 last night. Bristol fielded 14 Academy players in their 23.
It puts Munster's victory over the Saffers in perspective.
If you read the Munster fans forum you would think that their victory over the Saffers was akin to the second coming of our Lord and that there would be a shortage of Brasso in Limerick for all the trophies they will win.

Nearly popped down to Dublin a day early to support the away side myself
Am pleased that Chile have made the WC, indeed photographic evidence exists of me pretending to scrummage against a local in Santiago five years ago, but one suspects they may struggle.
Re: URC 2022/23 - Other Sides
Don’t think it was Chile’s strongest team but they looked like a semi-pro team and too often defended like one too. Leinster 10-12-13 axis cut them open frequently in the first 50 minutes with some fairly standard backline moves. Better handling from the back 3 and the defeat would have been even worse for Chile. Hopefully World Rugby can set them up with a couple of decent coaches who can help them improve in terms of fitness and reading attacking patterns.

He couldn't decide between GAA and rugby. That caused an issue rather than his ability.justinr73 wrote:I see there’s an Ulster ‘reject’ in the Leinster back row tomorrow.

As far as I know he played GAA for Ardara for a bit after Ulster. More recently he has been playing rugby for Terenure. I guess he got the GAA out of his system and is now giving rugby the full attention.solidarity wrote:Hmmm, interesting. What sort of arrangement did Leinster offer that Ulster didn't?
