Munster Rugby can confirm that Jean Kleyn, John Hodnett and Liam Coombes have all signed contract extensions with the province.
Kleyn, who won the World Cup with South Africa last month, and Hodnett have both signed two-year extensions with Coombes signing a one-year deal.

The province can also confirm that RG Snyman will depart Munster for a new playing opportunity on completion of his contract at the end of the season.

RG Snyman - what a signing! Makes some of Bryn's signing look good.

But I suppose he helped them win the URC last year.

Well if you believe the chat the "1014 group" - a group of private backers were covering at least part of the salaries of Snyman / De Allende, that helps from a financial pov re Munster.

Think they’d forgotten they’d signed him until Murray Kinsella mentioned him in the scrum half depth chart article this week.

Munster v Glasgow should be interesting.

Dempsey is a miss but I’m going for the Weegies.

Apparently, Ryan Wilson has just had his first pint of Beamish and Ferris has never heard of it.

Bloody amateurs.

7 changes to the Glasgow starting XV from last week.

Bookies had Munster by 11 before the game started.

Busby just made a very strange call in the Connacht v Leinster game. The Connacht 12 got yellow card for getting a shoulder to his head. Seems all wrong. The Leinster player should have been carded for leading with the shoulder in my view.

Just watching it.

How was he upright?!

One knee was inches from the ground and the other leg was at right angles.

I may be wide of the mark and am happy to be corrected but I think the way the laws are framed at the moment dictate that the tackling player bears sole responsibility for what ensues. Whether this is a good or bad thing is I think open to debate but that’s where the laws stand.

I believe you are right.

Still, the ref shouldn’t be announcing that the guy was upright when he plainly wasn’t. Had he been upright, he would have been shoulder-charged/head-butted in the chest!
