This is exactly the kind of post that starts a daft panic session. Nobody has, said, suggested, speculated, intimated or prophesied that Rory is going anywhere.
RORY WILL STILL BE HERE NEXT SEASONhe is 99% sure to retire as an Ulster player.

I have posted previously on at least 2 occasions about the apparent lack of information regarding the contract position of one of our leading players.

Nobody has enlightened me in any way.

Yes Cables, but you saying it kicks off a panic. If Rory wasn't going to stay, we would know by now. Do I know? No I don't, but if I thought there was even the slightest chance that Rory was going I would panic, but I'm not panicing.

Cables - I understand the point you are tyring to make here about clarification of the playing sqaud for next season rather than specifically highlighting any uncertainty over Rory.

Couldn't see him leaving anyway after being through all the worst years. Upping sticks as soon as the road to glory starts would be a bit bizzarre!

May I add my few nupes worth that Cables, as ever, is seeking exactitudes, not statements of faith,neither is he seeking to incite panic - unless he tells me otherwise - but is simply curious as to what the situation is with Rory & although it wasn't on my mind, I'd quite like to know the score, but don't feel it my right to know & will wait patiently for the white smoke to billow above Ravenhill.

Cables & others, though as Manuel would say "I know nothing", whispers reach my ancient ears that Doc Dave has declared there is no NIQ identified let alone signed. I would dearly love to believe this, as the Fat Nick "rumour" gave my IBS a tricky couple of weeks.

Just as it is settling down we get the rounds of the kitchen at Twickahs & a Wha'bout Rory thread. Like others, I would be little short of amazed if Rory ever plays for anyone but Ulster, but nobody should take any player for granted.
