Merry Christmas

Post by fermain »

from the front page..

The UAFC would like to say a big Merry Christmas, and thank you to all our readers throughout the year.
Without you, we wouldn't be the best rugby fan club website for any rugby team bar none.

We would also like to say a big Thank you to Ulster Rugby for the roller-coaster ride that has seen us sweep all Rabodirect and Heineken opposition aside this year. I can honestly say this has been the best season I have ever witnessed, and enjoyed, since last year :D

Not forgetting the league coverage from the boys on the Beeb, and SKY for their coverage of the Heineken Cup again.

Also, a big thank you to Kukri, our advertisers for the sponsorship throughout this year and last.

But most of all to you, the fans. Lets all get behind Ulster rugby for the remainder of the season, and show the world what real support can do for the men on the pitch.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

And a massive thank you to you Fermain, all the mods and everyone else who makes this site possible. Sorry I don't think I was making much sense when we last met (no change there), I blamed FlyBE and their damn special offer on London Pride.

Happy Xmas to all the Ulster supporters and others with whom I have talked, argued, agreed, disagreed, abused, been abused by, had a laugh with, had a pint with, bought/sold tickets from/to, etc, etc, etc whether it was online or in that funny place they call the real world.

From experience, it's busy for the first hour after opening, then it gets quiet in the small hours.

Walked into Sainsbury's off-licence just after 10 this morning. I was the only customer in there - brilliant!

One of the quirks of the licencing laws. You can sell booze all day on Sunday but the grocery store can only open from 1-6pm.

And a Merry Christmas and very happy New Year to all the mods, contributors, readers, one and all. Not forgetting all of our brilliant players, coaches, physios, docs, back room staff as well as everyone at Ulster Rugby (and Norrie's cactus).

I've spent many a contented hour on this site reading topics that range from insightful rugby analysis to where I can get a good deal in kitchens in Aberdeen. Many thanks to Fermain and the crew for providing this magnificent platform and many thanks to the punters who post insightful rugby analysis and to those who post tom kite. Without you all this would be a very dull place to visit.

I think it was Grumpy who came up with that one on Friday night! Apologies if it was someone else.

A Happy and Peaceful Christmas to you one and all.
