Looks good to me.

Bring Best, Bowe and Williams on in the 2nd half.

I suppose that's the best we've got under the circs ... if Allen is injured try anyone else on the wing, Nelson, Scholes ... I know not, but I do know that McIlwaine is not the answer unless the question is who should not be on the wing. I'd start Black ahead of TC personally. Lutton should start even if Teapot is in the best of health.

I think we could be resting FNW.
Stevenson on bench, Diack or Doyle covering back row.

McIlwaine isn't at this level, can't believe he conceded a 2nd penalty in the same number of matches for being in front of the kicker!

He stopped, and was still penalised.

Is Cochrane available? He's showed signs of promise in the past.

Are Bowe and Best not due back for this game?

I think/hope so ... but maybe from the bench ... unless we start Rory on the wing and take him off at half time and bring Bowe on!!!!!

Thought big Nick was outstanding against Glasgow in attack and defence against and looked jaded against Connacht as a consequence.
This goes back to what I saying about him not being a week in week out player and he will have to be managed/rotated accordingly if last season taught us anything.
He rarely if ever has he played in over 15 games a season during his career and that has to be taken into account in order to get the best out of him.
With 3 massive games to follow as much as I would be tempted to play him, I wouldn`t if avoidable.
With Doyle, Hendo and Diack there we do have decent cover but there will be times coming up when we dont and big Nick will have to play.

Any word on Afoas return?
We could do with him.

Nick needs games to keep his fitness up. Last year he had a long spell in the team and was running rampant, he seemed to thrive on it. I don't think Nick was unfit against Connacht, they just had the measure of him. Teams seem to be chopping him off at the ankles, and they are able to do this because of the static ball he is receiving. This time last year we were offloading and creating that extra space, so far this season we are struggling at times to catch and pass.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Nick becomes leathal when you have another big ball carrier in the team ... get Hendo to 6 and Afoa back ... front foot ball rucks cleared at speed and out to Fat Nick, after Hendo has taken 3 out ... at the minute he's getting ball in open play with no momentum ... He needs to play more with Hendo.

15 Payne
14 Bowe
13 Olding
12 Marshall
11 Gilroy
10 Jackson
09 Pienaar
08 Wilson
07 Henry
06 Ferris
05 Henderson
04 Tuohy
03 Afoa
02 Best
01 Court

Subs: 16 McAllister, 17 Herring, 18 Lutton, 19 Muller, 20 Williams, 21 P Marshall, 22 Cave, 23 Trimble (got Pienaar, Olding, Marshall & Payne who could cover 10 if need be, gone for big impact bench, Small P always better off the bench, McAllister, Herring, Muller & Williams would be great coming onto the pitch fresh in the 2nd half)

Don't mind me, im just dreaming about the day we'd have a fully fit, all available team of players to choose from. Will we ever see the day in this age of player management, injuries and being softies in regards our NIQ's? :duck:
