Sorry for the delay in acknowledging your donation as I have been off on leave.
On behalf of the MITRE Trust Appeal at Musgrave Park Hospital, we wish
to thank you for the donation of £230 received from the UAFC (Ulternative Alster Supporters Club) towards the charity.
We are striving to clear the debt on the MITRE Rehabilitation Unit for
Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine which opened in January 2005 and is a magnificent building.
Your donation is very gratefully received and is helping us to help
patients in Norethern Ireland.
Yours sincerely
Ethel Riddell (Mrs)

As one of those who didn't travel may I congratulate those who did on their generosity in turning over the surplus from the trip to such a worthy cause.
??? never heard of that, thought we an Ulster Rugby Supporters Club and that there was an independant website called Uulternative Alster Fan Club?? and the trip was nothing official just an event run by a supporter which by all accounts was successful (just a pity as i said before that an official trip was not organised by URSC)also was good to see the person that organised it was able to do it so well (still cant figure out why he couldnt when he was a committee member) but i may be wrong .........................oh and unless you were privy to a certain conversation then you would know which path its all going..................END OFF
Don't think you can blame Gary if the Mitre rep gets the name wrong in the thank-you letter YM.
The obvious conclusion for your last point is that some other influence/interference prevented things from going quite so smoothly when he was doing it as part of the committee.
I have drawn what I consider to be an obvious inference that if Gary could succeed so well on his own outside the URSC but couldn't within it then there have been something else influencing or impeding him when working within the URSC.
Frankly I neither know nor care what that may have been. However, I do hope that if Gary can ever be persuaded to organise another trip for the benefit of UR supporters that the carpers and detractors will keep their views to themselves and let him get on with it.
