Which is running painfully slow for me.

I wouldn't mind joining the Titans. I'm not gay or anything, I just want a club. I reckon I'd get a game or 2 there too.. I've got experience, I've got pace, I've got a bit of strength, and I've got a penis... what more do they want!?

Why is it gays want to be treated like everyone else but then have to have gay parades, gay rugby clubs etc.,?
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

Setanta, I think it should, first of all, be noted that this is not a 'gay' rugby club, it is a 'gay friendly' and inclusive rugby club - consider the number of openly gay professional rugby players, for example and you can probably see why a club being openly gay friendly is quite important for a lot of its players. This is not about segregation at all but about providing a comfortable and inclusive dressing room for these guys that the distinct lack of openly gay players at the top levels of the game would suggest may not exist in a lot of other rugby clubs around the country.

Is it still known as Bald's -- that takes me back over 40 years and my stag night and double Whiskeys and Drambuie

Colzo if you join the TItans inform us how they verify you status as an active gay
2B or not 2B that is the question ?

YM; I'm not a member of this rugby club and I will not, therefore, profess to knowing what goes on in that dressing room. Suffice to say, there are straight players at this rugby club and their continued presence would be enough to suggest that they feel that it is comfortable and inclusive enough for them. Somehow, I cannot image a lot of heterophobic geeing up before the kick off, for example; sadly, I experienced too much seriously homophobic pre-game psych-ups in my time, especially at university, and the experience of the only openly gay player on that team certainly contributed to by own decision to stop playing the game at that stage.

I am not gay but that kind of behaviour, amongst other things, was enough to make me feel uncomfortable playing with those people and I took the decision to stop playing with them as a result. That is clearly not the case with the straight players at this club, shown by the fact that they continue to play there. With that being the case, I would be more willing to accept that anyone who does not feel comfortable in that environment should look at themselves, rather than those whom they are playing with.
