We need an influence on the pitch. Big mouth, big nerves, big action!

was down at the game, what a disappointment.

Doak is pure dung. He is so slow and wtf is the kicking about?
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

I wish I had been down at it. I've had my fair share of defeats in Dublin, but I'd gladly have taken another one tonight because it would have meant that my own health and that of my nearest and dearest were in much better shape.

Disappointed - very disappointed, but there's more important things in life - unless you're one of the players or coaching staff.
Very fair comment, Cap'n. It is, indeed, only a game. :thumleft:
Aye, last team to score a try bonus point @ The RDS? :duck:

What was said at half time? McFarland needs to take a serious look at himself. Unfortunately we will find this difficult to recover from. Mentally we are weak and this will be exacerbated when we play in Europe. We are in for a difficult winter.

POINT OF LAW!

Sometimes when a team score a try, you see them rush the conversion cos once it's taken, the ref cannae chalk it off, even if there's foul play by the attacking team? Is that correct?

If so, surely the ref cannae go back and address foul play by defending team once the conversion has been taken either?

To put it bluntly, can he review foul play in a previous phase, and dish out cards, even after play has been restarted?

The conversion is the restart of play after a try. The kick-off is just the restart after the conversion.

Answers on a postcard please?

Very familiar routine, but sure why not again:

Positives:
BP try at end was ballsy
Cracking game of rugby for the neutral
URC starting to hit its straps now, even saw decent crowds in SA games earlier
IF we win in May knock out games, this will be irrelevant
Andy Farrell has good judgement

Negatives:
14 men beat us again
Back three were poor positionally, Lowry was just awful in every way, needs to be said! Let’s stop blowing smoke up our arses about our back line until we win even one of the big ones!
Mental capitulation ala Leicester, Toulouse, Leinster qtr final 2019, Gloucester, Leinster Pro14 final 2020 etc etc
As Luke Fitzgerald said, did our backline ever look at a Gary Ringrose recording, he steps off his right.
Doak has gone backwards for some reason, classic second season syndrome. Jacob just not right.

And one for James Hume, you have to earn the right to posture and strut, and if you think beating a Leinster B side gave you that kudos, then more fool you.

Do you know for a fact that the players played to his instructions in the second half?

Couldn’t agree more. He’s totally overrated. The amount he slows down the game is crazy- box kicking was aimless.

Hendy and Cooney going off killed ulster.

Who mentioned needing the ref?

I was merely asking a hypothetical question on the laws of the game.

Gentlemen.

Why was an obviously injured Billy Burns not taken off the field? This is the best team in recent history we are playing. And we think we can do this with a nobbled out half.. MADNESS
