I would buy into the dodgy thrower reason as to why Rory was omitted if it wasn't for the fact that Hartley got picked instead. He is not steady eddie either and his throwing has disintegrated in some big matches.

That's quite a tough draw. Leicester and Treviso are the best teams in their countries and Montpellier looked like a really tough side in last year's comp.

Read the Sunday Times player ratings this morning and couldn't believe that S Jones had given Falateau 9 out of 10 (highest mark of any player). I thought he was the least effective of all the Lions forwards.

Here, hold on a minute. I give (and gave) Leinster the credit as being more clinical, and better at keeping possession. I maintain that their cheating was better than our cheating. Boss taking Williams at the back of *that* scrum - good cheating. Henry on the ground preventing the ball being played...
