Any team news on what XV Castres are putting out against Northampton? Yes, I know worry about whats going on in Glasgow and the rest will take care of itself.

I would hope though that Castres will put out a team capable of giving Northampton le hop

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

By no means a transfer rumour, but its as good as we have had in a long time and if you build it, they will come!

Found out today that Big Nick is a full cousin of SBW, wouldn't it be nice if we all chipped in and got Nicks family over for Christmas, hell he might even like it over here.

Re: Glasgow - Ulster

Does anyone know if the extended Glasgow squad has been named anywhere? Would be curious to see how many supposed injured players are named on their panel.

Re: Glasgow - Ulster

Pork pies? You mean battered haggis suppers surely? I think wee Ruiadhri (?) has the makings of a decent 10. I see on their site he was happy enough talking to the fans after the Saints game so he may well be ok. After him I don't know who they have. I played a few club games with Scottie Wig...

Re: Ulster v Castres - Positives & Negatives

I'll probably be slabbering like the best of them in no time, well hopefully anyway. Maybe have a mass ruck/brawl at half time between forum members and whoever walks off has bragging rights thus winning any arguments and when anyone says something stupid they can claim concussion The first rule of...

Re: Injury Update

Big Nick two weeks without a game...... I hope somebody has had the common sense to chain him to a radiator with rations of bread and water.... he'll be even bigger!

Be afraid Glasgow

Re: Who will captain Ulster when Muller leaves?

Will Carling captained England at 22, Sam Warburton captained Wales at 22, age is irrelevant maturity is, if he continues to progress at his current rate why not?

I remember a young David Pollock taking an Ulster team to Stade Francais a few years back and we put in a shift.

Re: Who will captain Ulster when Muller leaves?

I was told Paddy Jackson has consistently captained teams through schools, underage grade etc, can anyone else shed any light on this?

Re: Yes Paul, that applause was...

Yes beagle had by his standards probably one of his best performances in an Ulster jersey of his career if not the best.

Perspective though, what did he produce that Ruan Pienaar couldn't have? and did do week in week out last season.

Re: Adam D'Arcy Hide and Go Seek Champion

D'Arcy has played both of Quins AIL games and played on the wing for Ravens on Saturday. He has been good for selection for some time and has not been picked. Other options at fullback for HEC should Payne not be available, i would like to see T Bowe at fullback bringing Gilroy onto wing. Pienaar ha...

Adam D'Arcy Hide and Go Seek Champion

Has Adam D'Arcy become the forgotten man of Ulster Rugby? I thought the ethos of the new coach was to create competition for places and give everyone a chance to show what they can do. D'Arcy not everyones cup of tea but he is now a seasoned player with HEC experience. With Bowe and Payne both optio...

Re: Northampton vs Glasgow

Northampton will feel the pressure to keep up with our BP win.

If Glasgow can stay with The Saints for about 60 minutes Northampton might just choke. Glasgow have a superstar in Stuart Hogg.

Having said all this I will watch in hope more than expectation.
