Re: Edinburgh v Ulster
What has Falloon done to offend and be left out totally? is this McL choice or has Kidney influenced it ?

Re: Ian Humphreys
As long as Humphreys remains on the Bench or side lines there is no way of settling this agrument. Personally I would like to see hom get some game time this week just in case we do need him for the ERC. NOC is at best adequate but he never seems to provide any real threat to the opposition. There i...

Re: Positives & Negatives: Connacht V Ulster
I must agree about Emrick he seems to lack passion and his delayed tackle desrved to be on the LATE LATE SHOW. I would be tempted to try Darcy on the wing or pray for a quick return from Danelli after all the rest are just keeping the spot warm for him. Disappointing to only come away with two leagu...

Re: The IFA plans withdrawn - and how it will affect us
It appears that our minister wants to be even handed sono money to anyone until all are organised and running a proper organisation. From what I can gather both the GAA ulster Council amnd the IRFU ulster Branch are ready to go but we will all hve to wait until the IFA are sorted out. I was told tha...

Re: Connacht v Ulster
I agree with TIn Pig this is one dodgy fixture. As the man said on paper a trip to Connacht should be a minimum of 4pts but unfortunately we are not playing on paper but on the Sportsground. Not exactl a fortress but certainly a bit of a graveyard for many teams in the past. I think and hope that to...

Re: Aironi game
Surprised that Sky are blocking RTE tgransmission of Magners as they hardly acknowledge it existance except at ERC times.
Are Setanta behind this ? they only have rights to delayed transmission ?
What do Celtic Rugby say about this ?

Re: BBC coverage, what's the verdict ?
Tolland on Setanta was very good and talked sense,Emmet Byrne is on an ego trip and hasnt a clue about ugby outside leinster and perhaps Munster. Francis is nearly as big a waste of space onTv as he was on the pitch. Ciaran Fitz like Tolland was good and also gave credit to all the provinces and cer...

Re: The Maze Money
The worrying thing is that it appears that the Assembly are not preparedto release money until all participants are ready. With the IFA still in turmoil both Rugby amnd the GAA are likely to be penalised. It seems time for joint action between the UR and GAa to get their money released. quickly befo...

Re: Quins v Ulster match thread
24-0 away from home with a weak squad is not too bad. having had a look at the Harlequins Squaf quickly I thought it could hsave been inthe 40's. I would have thought that McLughlin might have been happier than Connor O'shea to night. Harlequins must surely be disappointed. If Gilroy beat Ogayy then...

Re: Harlequins V Ulster
I agree Cormac. The question of the internationals is obviously out of Ulsters hands. As the IRFU have these playrs under international contracts they decide their fate. The coaches have to see what they have as back up or indeed maybe even see if some one can break through so these pre sesason game...

Umderstand from reliable sources that they hope to start in January but IFA presidential row is holding point.
politicians reluctant to release money unless to all three simultaneously. UB anmd GAA are ready to go but IFA still not all clear of internal politics.
