Wallace?

Why waste money giving a new contract to a guy who has had a serious injury, is too old and not good enough? With Trimble, gilroy and bowe there's any who would like to see tommy at centre but with cave etc there are plenty of god players already there so why add Wallace to that mix? He's past it an...

Re: Who should never play again for Ireland?

Court was taken apart and best can't hit a barn door. That meant pressure in the scrum and as a result penalties. Best is terrific around the pitch but he's a liability if he can't win line outs. I didn't say drop obrien just he shouldn't be paying 7. We lost scrums and also lost vital attacking pos...

Re: Stats!

Obrien is a 6 not a 7 and should be there, Henry should have started 6 nations but even if he hadn't got injured kidney wouldn't have started him. I hate to repeat myself but best cant seem to hit a barn door at present.

Re: Who should never play again for Ireland?

Russ best's throwing was awful if you look at the replays he overthrew, missed his jumpers and his throwing the last few games has been terrible. He offers a lot around the pitch hence why I have in brackets about his throwing. A hooker needs to throw straight and find his man, unless he improves I ...

Re: Women's Triple Crown

Maybe a few of them could play for the proper Ireland team. They shouldn't be allowed to play on a Sunday, who's meant to cook the Sunday dinner if they're all off trying to be men!

Who should never play again for Ireland?

Tom Court (taken apart in scrum looks like a donkey about the pitch) ROG Best (unless he can start hitting that barn door he must have on his farm) Heaslip (lucky to be starting should never be captain again) Darcy (Marshall, despite RtE attempts to blame him for rog madness was brilliant) Obrien at...

5 Ulster players???

5 Ulster players starting and 2 on the bench? Did anyone every think they would see the day that this would happen? I know it would be a step too far but Trimble should really be starting as well, personally I think he's in the best form of his life and should be on before Earls and if Henry was fit...

Re: Irish Lions

Where do you see O'Brien playing? He's not an open side kidney is the only coach who would overlook an in-form player such as Henry and persist in playing a team without a natural 7. I can't see O'Brien going and it might be one of the worst years for Irish involvement.

Not to sure what to make of that rant with its charming insult at the end.Was that an attempt at sarcasm the lowest form of wit? In his day Darcy was a good płayer but his day was 7 or 8 years ago. Unless you get the majority of posters to come on here and laud Darcy as the outstanding player you s...

Re: Jamie Heaslip

Heaslip hasn't had a really good game for ireland for a few years. The best option would be obrien at number 8 to give that physicality and gain vital metres with Henry at open side. It's crazy that Ireland overlook a guy who is at the top of his game and an out and out open side. Since Wallace we h...

Re: Darcy???

I must've been watching different Ireland games than some posters on here. Darcy has been awful for Ireland for the last 5 or 6 years. His continual selection for the last 3 years has been a joke.

Darcy???

What does Gordon Darcy have to do to get dropped? He's been consistently awful over the last 5 or 6 years but they still keep churning him out. If Kidney was brave to choose Cave who deserves a run which Ulster player would he drop to compensate for another Ulster player being in the team???
