Re: Toulon doping?

What I am surprised about is that this is even news. Most professional sportspeople are involved in some form of 'doping'; rugby players are definitely not an exception here. All you'd need to do is calculate their height, weight and body fat percentage to get their fat free body-mass index score t...

Re: AIL FIXTURES

Bangor vs Inst tomorrow will be a great match to watch. I may head down to Upritchard Park for it given that I'm injured and can't play at the moment myself.

Re: AIL FIXTURES

its ok saying Inst are going to be good but wait until they have to play a clogher Valley team, Portadown or Bangor. They struggled last year due to the pack and are probably coming up against some better packs in Q1. My prediction Q1 Bangor to win and Cooke to get relegated The pack has changed an...

Re: AIL FIXTURES

I saw Inst play on Saturday. They look like a serious side for Q1 this season. There'll be some heavyweight, brutal matches in Q1!

Re: Doping

Steroid abuse is rife in professional sports. The athletes and team doctors are so far ahead of the testing systems in place that it isn't even funny. It actually amazes me that people are so blinkered as to its widespread use in almost all professional sports. I've a few articles lying about somewh...

Re: Jerome Garces

This was, without doubt, one of the worst 'refereeing' decisions I have ever seen on a pitch (both in terms of playing and spectating). Although some will argue that the 'letter of the law' will dictate a red and that the French referees take into account the 'injury' involved, what protections can ...

Re: Full house ... Really?

I actually got a few season tickets from people who didn't want to go to the game... I normally purchase my tickets for the Terrace, given the atmosphere and decent view, but I was in the Memorial Stand last night. It was an utter farce in terms of atmosphere. There were simply too many 'fair...

Re: Schools Cup 2014

Ah, I've just heard now that they missed 4 penalties. Inexcusable in a sense... If you want to win, you have to take your chances. I agree with the Methody and Sullivan final as well. It'll be explosive if that's the final!

Here's hoping for a Sullivan win for once.

Re: Schools Cup 2014

I heard reports that RBAI were unlucky not to win today. Apparently they were the better team for large parts of the game. A shame for the boys... Methody will have a tough encounter against Wallace in the semi-final, but I imagine that they'll see themselves in the final already. That was a huge re...

Oh, and well done to the Ulster supporters! They were very loud.
