Re: Retro style shirt
Was thinking of the same myself. Fancied an older style shirt, altho, a 1999 type shirt, maybe not as vintage as you are looking. Few things on ebay might be worth a look. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Canterbury-Ulster-Vintage-Rugby-Shirt-Rare-Sponsorless-Edition-rrp-60-All-sizes-/370609219803?pt=UK_R...

Re: Retro style shirt
The Red hand has been beautifully embroidered on the front left breast. The red hand is clearly embroidered on to a white patch which has then been sown on to the jersey! A 70s or 80s Ulster home jersey would have the hand embroidered straight on to the jersey - and if done properly, would have ULS...

Don't think UR have 'done a deal' with The Bot, they will advertise any bar that has a similar thing going on.eoinsy96 wrote:would people prefer big screen at ravers or in city centre? cant see it at ravers due to points already raised + they've done a deal with the bot, doubt they'll go back on that

There is a post on the UR Facebook page from someone who contacted UR today - considering possibility of a big screen at Ravenhill!

Re: So it's Leinster in the final - an all Ireland final
If this is an all Ireland final, do the winners get the Sam Maguire as well as the ERC? :duck: What's a Sam Maguire? The Sam Maguire Cup is the biggest prize in Gaelic Football, it is awarded to the winners of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship after the final at Croke Park - kn...

Hollywood. That is with 2 Ls - nothing to do with painted faced eejits from North Down. Jack Reacher, according to the books by Lee Child, is 6ft 5in tall, so when Hollywood decide to make a film of one of the books, One Shot, who do they choose to play the part? Tom fecking Cruise! 5 ft7! It's like...

Re: Flags for Aviva
I'm not sure that's strictly true Moonman. You might want to reread what I wrote. I listed emblems which I believe to be controversial in the NI context - let me know if you think any of those emblems are completely non-controversial. In our province (Ulster), there are certain emblems which are se...

Re: Flags for Aviva
You really are a bit special. I honestly don't think you are as naive as you let on, but what we're taking about here is Ulster fans' opinion on what flags we find acceptable/preferable to be on display at Ulster rugby games. Ok OneMore, You were the one who started lists of flags. If people find t...

The Ulster Branch uses BOTH white and yellow crests - so to use the term 'essentially' is to say the least ballix.aarons wrote:What a ridiculous WUM statement. The crest of the branch is essentially the yellow ulster flag.
