Re: Flags for Aviva
To my limited knowledge, the yellow flag has been the provincial flag for quite some time. I wasn't aware that people saw it as controversial. I think your use of the word "recently" is a little misleading here. I could similarly say "This is a flag which was only seen at GAA matches...

Re: Flags for Aviva
[ Okay, I'm going to make this as straightforward as I can. It would appear that you are either very slow, or pretending to be very slow. In our province (Ulster), there are certain emblems which are seen as controversial. These include, but are not limited to, the following: Images of crowns The f...

Plenty of blow ins alright. I too saw the same Norn Iron with Union Jack fleg on a kid. And walking from the match some drunken idiot kept saying ( in reference to my SA fleg ) "Jamaica have a bobsleigh team ya know? What are your views on that?" which we duly ignored. Why did you bring a...

As for all the other wallet comments, don't worry we're not interested as you don't have any Scottish pound notes. Scottish pound notes? And what are they worth? As this photo taken in Turkey a couple of weeks back shows, they are worth less than Bank of England notes and dare I say it, nearly as w...

A very sick joke? But then again it could be connected with the plans to move the War Memorial Arch -...

That the St Patrick's cross, has bugger all to do with St Patrick and is a symbol created by the British establishment in Ireland and largely used in that context. From an Irish perspective therefore, there is plenty of room for someone to take offence if they so wish. St George's cross has bugger ...
